The 'NRC Multicultural Table Tennis Tournament 2026' organized by Nepalese Recreation Club (NRC) has concluded grandly.In the competition held on Saturday at Nam Ho Table Tennis Academy in Ryd, Australia, 39 players from various countries and communities participated.The competition, organized by Pawan Soti and Abhay Phuyal, featured competitions in five categories: Beginners, Open Singles, Children Under 12, Veterans Over 45, and Open Doubles. The death toll in the fire that broke out on a ship in the waters of the tourist area Palawan province of the Philippines on Wednesday has reached 76 on Saturday, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has stated. 13 people affected by the incident are still missing.According to the PCG, 41 more bodies were found on Saturday, bringing the total confirmed death toll to 76. 43 people affected by the accident were rescued safely.A video released by the PCG shows the passenger ferry completely burnt, with ashes and burnt structural debris.
